Associate Client Manager
Join Health Plan Advocate and make a difference in people’s health! We act as an advocate for employers and their employees with their health and health insurance benefits. As an Associate Client Manager, you will join a team that serves our corporate clients in the design, delivery, and evaluation of their employee wellness programs. These programs include services such as biometric health screenings, health education seminars, fitness classes, individual health coaching, nicotine cessation assistance, corporate challenges, and more!
This is an entry-level, client-facing role designed to help you build skills to grow into a Client Manager. This exciting position offers a variety of tasks, projects, and challenges in all areas of corporate wellness. We rely heavily on the ideas, thoughts, and contributions of our team members. You will be encouraged to contribute to a team and help us grow our programs as we help you grow as a professional.

Primary Responsibilities

Account management of less complex wellness programs for an assigned group of corporate clients.

Consult with clients on wellness program design, prepare and present annual program results, and deliver recommendations on program improvements.

Coordinate details, delivery, and logistics of annual wellness programming.

Create and administer corporate challenges.

Build relationships with client human resource teams, health insurance brokers, and other corporate employees.

Proactively provide ongoing communication on program results and Wellness trends.

Coordinate information sharing among HR team, insurance brokers, and other involved parties.

Deliver wellness services to employees.

Participate in onsite client events by providing support and education to employees on wellness, fitness and nutrition.

Through scheduled calls, provide individual health coaching that emphasizes lifestyle changes around BMI, blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, nicotine use, and more.

Give educational seminars on a variety of health and wellness topics.

Perform biometric screenings in HPA’s office and at client locations.

Serve as an onsite wellness representative in company facilities as needed.

Wellness team responsibilities
-
Collaborate toward continuous improvement of Wellness programming.

Assist with interviews as necessary for new employees and interns.

Participate in training and ongoing education of health screeners.

Required Qualifications
-
Background in Exercise Science, Fitness, Nutrition, Health Promotion, or a similar field through education or experience.

Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills to prioritize and complete multiple tasks

Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills, and someone who enjoys interacting with a diverse population.

Ability to travel to client locations, primarily in West Michigan.

Open-minded, able to be an effective and supportive team member.

Experience with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Familiar with blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, and body mass index.

Must be a non-nicotine user.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior customer service experience

First Aid and CPR Certification
